The M Lab DirectShow MPEG-2 Software-only Decoder Filters provide high quality and high speed playback of MPEG system stream, program stream and transport stream with MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 video, and MPEG Layer 1, MPEG Layer 2, Dobly AC-3 audio. The software provides automatic error correction and recovery capabilities which most of other MPEG-2 players do not have.

    • Fully Demux features: MPEG System Stream, MPEG Program Stream, MPEG Transport Stream, Elementary Stream.
    • Capable of real time decoding of MPEG-2 (Main Profile@ Main Level) video bitstreams up to 10 Mbps without special hardware.
    • Support for full speed playback of up to Full D-1 resolution files, NTSC (720x480, 30fps) or PAL (720x576, 25 fps) on a Pentium II 450 MHz system with a DirectX compatible video card supporting YUV overlay mode. Half D-1 on a 300 MHz Pentium II.
    • Non Square Pixel Conversion: Display the true DVD quality picture on Computer Monitor.
    • Deinterlaced Picture.
    • Full-screen mode support.
    • MMX Optimized for most efficient use of processor.
    • Streaming features:  Quick connection at startup.
    • Streaming support: Multicast and Unicast.
    • DVD support: MPEG-2 Video with multiple AC-3 audio channels.
    • Frame Accurate seeking.
    • Error recovery: recovering stream having certain degree of bad data.
    • Audio/Video lip synchronized.
